THE JEMS MISSION STATEMENT
The Jay Entertainment and Music Society was organized in 1987 to provide entertainment and education to our community.
• As a not-for-profit organization, JEMS strives to connect the local and vsiting community together through the arts via music, dance, exercise, spoken word, theater, the visual arts and community-based events.
• JEMS believes the arts have the power to transform and transport people and ideas, evoke feelings, provoke thought and discourse and bring joy.
• JEMS provides a space for artistic expression and creativity, diverse programing and public and private events.
• JEMS continues to eveolve and welcomes all ideas and community members to our great facility and events
• The JEMS Board strives to maintain these goals and objectives through volunteer efforts.
